Today was a busy day, trying to balance a whole lot of tasks between a few hours. I went ahead and snapped the photos of this outfit in the morning while my cousin, who had come over the night before, could play the role of my photographer. However, he was so amused by the whole concept of me taking pictures and posting them online for people to see and comment on that he decided to make his debut as a model on my blog as well.

Just a quick post to say that I took advantage of my trip to TX to do some much-needed shopping at great U.S. prices instead of the astronomical prices I'd have to deal with here at home... so I'll be updating my pictures soon. I might even do my first video on this blog so... stay tuned! :)

Hi Dolls!

It's been a while, huh?
Well I've had a fabulous time in Texas, but I'm now back at home in Angola... below are pics of the last outfit I took which I MEANT to post forever and a day ago... but got too busy enjoying my vacay :p

Oh, and meet my handsome brother, the oldest of us three. It was so great to get to spend some time with him and even tag along on his workday (he has the most flexible job in the world!). It was fun to sit in on marketing meetings at starbucks and all of that posh stuff :)


I must say though, it's good to be back. Lots of things are going on at work and in other extracurricular activities I have going on and I'm just ready to jump back in full-speed!

And of course, I've missed blogging and catching up on my favorite blogs... so I'm now back from my long hiatus!

Eager Beaver

The hours went by sooo slowly today, as it always does when one is counting down the hours til an exciting event takes place. In about 12 hours, I head to the airport so I can fly off to the wonderful, beautiful state of TEXAS!!! I'm going on vacation, ya'll!

Texas is home to me, my mom and siblings live there, my oldest friends, my boyfriend, everyone I care about lives there. So I can barely contain my excitement of flying over the Atlantic in just a few hours!

I'm so ready for the laughter, the conversations, the good food, the late nights, the sleeping in, the lounging around, my best friend's wedding, the one-on-one time with my long-distance love, and everything good that comes with vacationing at home.

Today was filled with last-minute errands and some work-related emails here and there, so this causual attire was just the thing to get me through such a busy day (please forgive the wrinkles on the pants... I was too busy running other errands to worry about perfecting the outfit :S). All that's left now is a bit of packing and cleaning and then anxiously waiting for the night to pass so I can jump in that plane in the morning!

Aren't vacations the best?!?!
